I based my gouache painting on “Stay at Home – Time” by Peter Frengel. I was moved by the moments of time captured in the details of everyday life. It felt very Zen to me and provided a ‘healing look’ at Covid rather than focusing on the fear. I especially liked the vivid color descriptions and tenderness of life viewed through the actions of a child. There were many elements I loved in the poem, but these were the ones that really stood out to me.
