This is a 14×11 inch 3D mixed media piece with sculpted hands in the center surrounded by black waves. Although some might assume the hands are being devoured by waves of fear and uncertainty, the color black is meant to represent peacefulness and inspiration. The hands are symbolic of my inner hopes as I wish to bathe in this calmness for as long as I possibly can. Each wave is a mapped out piece of a memory that brings me this feeling.
