Pure boredom. Quarantine and working from home has left me with a lot of time to fill. To keep busy, I go hiking on weekends hunting for burl wood with my wife. (We call ourselves the Crunchy Free Burlerist Society.) The burl wood is sliced, cut to size, and polished with oil.
