“Megaptera novaeangliae” is an exploration of one of Earth’s most recognizable megafauna: the Humpback whale. I felt compelled to bring this pointillistic drawing to life to illustrate the beauty and grace of these creatures and draw attention to the existential crisis of climate change and ocean pollution. As we face yet another existential crisis, I hope that we can think of these incredible, intelligent beings and choose to make sustainable choices.
