Most of my sculptures, whimsical bird-like creatures, are benign with a bit of an attitude. As I was working on this one, I couldn’t shake that ubiquitous image of the COVID virus…that little protein-spiked sphere. The longer I worked on this one, the nastier it became. Too much TV! Turn it off!!!
