During this time, it is important to acknowledge the sacrifice that healthcare workers all around the world have made. They have put taking care of patients and these patients’ health above their own well-being. This is similar to how heroes put their own lives at risk for the greater good and to help save lives. Due to COVID-19, healthcare workers have sacrificed their time, put their own lives at risk, and some have also had to limit their time with loved ones to prevent possible transmission of the virus. This piece was painted to recognize the sacrifices and challenges associated with this situation that are presented to healthcare workers as well as an appreciation for the work they do.
